What is an online tally counter?

A simple way to count repetitions, people, items, or anything else. Give your counter a name and tap the large plus button each time you want to add to the total.

Can I change the counting step?

Yes. Change “Count by” to add or subtract a different amount. Space or the up arrow adds a step; the down arrow subtracts one. Reset starts again at zero, with an Undo option if you need it.

Will my count be saved?

The count, name, and step are saved in this browser when local storage is available. They do not sync to another device. Clearing your browser data removes the saved counter.

A LITTLE GUIDANCE

Keep the count.

  1. Name your counter.

    Tap the name above the number and type what you are counting.

  2. Count up or down.

    Tap plus or minus, or use Space and the arrow keys on a keyboard.

  3. Change the step.

    Set “Count by” to add more than one at a time.

  4. Keep your totals.

    Reset files the total under History. Tap one there to bring it back.
